Supported Home Living Services

It is often best for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to maintain their current living arrangements, either in their own home or in their family’s home, rather than relocating to a residential group home, to avoid the impact and potential trauma which could result from a significant move or change in environment. While continuing to live in their current home may be the best option for many intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals, often that is not an option, because additional support and assistance would be needed.

To help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible, in their own home environment, we offer Supported Home Living Services to assist with the activities of daily living, such as eating, bathing, dressing, grooming and hygiene. The level and extent of Supported Home Living Services required for each individual varies greatly, and are tailored for each in their individual plan.
